• The Art of Finding (and loving) Hostels.

When booking my first solo trip, I didn’t really know what a hostel was. I arrived at my first ever hostel in Prague that was located a floor above a ‘sauna club’ (exactly what you think it is). It took me over an hour to find and was the worst hostel I’ve stayed in to…

  • New Year, New Trips: My Time in Morocco

To welcome the new year, I decided a trip was in order. I opened up sky scanner in December, and saw that return flights to Morocco, were £28. Booked, for seven nights. I confirmed two nights at a hostel in Marrakech, with loose plans to travel down the coast but only a few Tiktok videos…

  • Life in Albania

Since coming back from my summer travels I have been trying to collect my thoughts about just how much this experience gifted me. I learned so much, about myself, about travelling, and obviously about Albania and the Balkans. Although tourism in these countries is on the rise, being home I’ve been asked so many questions…

  • Days off in Himarë

Given that Tirana is a super inland city and that we have been having a heatwave at the minute, I knew as soon as I got my days off I needed to hit the beach. I’d heard that the beaches down south were better than our closest beach which is Durres, so I decided to…

As a budget traveller, I’m always looking for ways to visit the most destinations for the least money. One of my favourite ways to do this is through layovers. I’m currently on my way to Tirana to start my first ever work away, so when I was looking for flights and found a 22-hour layover…

How it all started…

Back in 2022, my second summer in University, I decided I wanted to interrail. It wasn’t something that appealed to any of my friends so I decided to do it solo, and the rest is history. I fell in love with what it meant to travel alone, the experience of getting out of my comfort zone, meeting new people and experiencing new places. Although I had the time of my life, I definitely made some mistakes that have formed into, I guess you could say wisdom, surrounding solo travel, especially as a girl. I started this blog to share the stories of my past, present and future travels and I hope you come along for the journey!
